Hi Quinn,
This is very weird but I knew that I had answered your comment many months ago. I know I did. So I'm pretty sure it got lost when my blog imploded a while ago. I got it back online but I don't know if you ever read my response. Very weird. Now that I'm reading back I don't see my response to you posted so I'll just write another one ;-)
First of all I want to say that I have suffered from the same fear. But I started to understand that it was all in my head. No one starts off knowing it all. We learn as we go. One of the things that Lynn Terry has always said- just do it and go back and make it perfect later. Listening to that piece of advice of hers has gotten me way ahead in what I do. I'm not perfect and don't claim to be. I write about the things that I know and have lived. And what I do know from experience has helped many people. This motivates me. Helping others.
I personally know your qualities Quinn. You are one of the funniest people that I know. It would be a great blessing for others to get to know you as a person and experience your witty humor. I'm sure it would bring a lot of joy to others (and boy does the world need more joy).
I pray that the Lord guide your decisions and path.
God bless,
Eren

@ Gbolahan - Once you have a clear guidance from the Lord as to what you are to be doing simply write out the tasks that you need to do to accomplish His goals for you. Make a list of things that need to be done. Then start doing them every day. That way your actions are in alliance to where you are going.
Hope this helps,
Eren

@Miriam - I don't know what wounds in your heart caused you to look for love outside of your marriage. But God knows everything that you have gone through. He loves you so much. You are his special child. God's love for you is so immense that He suffered terribly and took upon all of the consequences for your sins. And when he died, all of your sins died right there with Him. Now all you have to do is believe in His sacrifice for you and for all that you did that was wrong.
No one is perfect - nobody but Him. So accept His gift Miriam. Don't ever let the devil keep you stuck in the rut of guilt. That's exactly where the enemy wants to keep you. But God cleanses everything that you have done.

"I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake..." Isaiah 43:25

So leave what you did in the past. Put it behind you. Because God has a purpose and a plan for your life and if you hold onto the past you are hindering His purposes for you.
You are forgiven sister. You have received His complete forgiveness. Be healed- you are a new creature in Christ Jesus.

"Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things are passed away; behold, new things have come." 2 Corinthians 5:17

Love always ♥,
Your sister in Christ,

Finding god again, has help me deal with me having an affair, after meing married for 37 years to a great man.I guess you can say i let evil in,he has since forgiven me and so has god.I'm still trying to forgive myself i'm gettting there but its not that easy.I still love my husband very much, but i do still think of my friend as he was a very special friend at the time.Letting go of that has been very diffcult.Everyday is a challenge, but i do ask god to help me go on.I know the pass is not erasable,it is what make us who we are today. So i really have to live for today, not yesterday or tommorow. So just for today i will be happy. I will not dwell on thoughts that depress me.If my my mind fills with clouds.I will chase them away with sunshine.

Hi Juan,
I'm so glad that the Lord used this article to inspire you. Including Him in our perspective on everything in life will help us gain a right vision of things. People have taken their Creator out of the equation of life and this doesn't help anyone.
I'll be praying for you and your college studies. My husband is almost done with his Physics degree. I know how much it requires of him so I can imagine how much you need to study.

Very true Kristi,
Unrealistic expectations don't help us to keep our motivation level high.
High energy and motivation are essential to achieving our goals. People don't take that into consideration when they establish goals.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Blessings,
Eren

It's funny that there are two lines of thought when it comes to making goals. One line says that you should ignore realities, and focus on your goals</focus> in a way that says nothing will be able to stop you. I think the goal of that line of thinking is that you will not take no for an answer if an obstacle steps in your way.

The other line of thinking is more like what you said in the end, about expecting that reality will come into play. At least with this line of theory, we will not be discouraged when obstacles do knock us off our course for a bit. Because we know that it was a possibility, and we know that it doesn't mean we failed - it just means we need to try again.

Eren,

A very inspirational post.

Procrastination on my part, especially pertaining to my online aspirations, is due to fear. This I know. I am guilty of not getting started. Fear holds me back. Perfectionism holds me back. Being perceived by others as less than competent holds me back.

I hear all the time that the key is to start. I understand this, but that doesn't take the fear away. Starting is the hardest part because I don't want others to see what I don't know yet. Appearing amateurish and haphazard and incomplete is a fearful proposition.

But lately I've been having this conversation with myself and I really do believe I'm getting closer to starting. I have an idea where I want to end up. I know where I want to get to and I have an idea about which method I want to use to get there. I can't see the whole picture just yet, but I'm much closer to starting than I used to be.

Keep posting, I'll keep reading. Bless you for your efforts.
