But I started to understand that it was all in my head. No one starts off knowing it all. We learn as we go. One of the things that Lynn Terry has always said- just do it and go back and make it perfect later. Listening to that piece of advice of hers has gotten me way ahead in what I do. I'm not perfect and don't claim to be. I write about the things that I know and have lived. And what I do know from experience has helped many people. This motivates me. Helping others. I personally know your qualities Quinn. You are one of the funniest people that I know. It would be a great blessing for others to get to know you as a person and experience your witty humor. I'm sure it would bring a lot of joy to others (and boy does the world need more joy). I pray that the Lord guide your decisions and path. Make a list of things that need to be done. Then start doing them every day. That way your actions are in alliance to where you are going. I will not dwell on thoughts that depress me.If my my mind fills with clouds.I will chase them away with sunshine. A very inspirational post.

Procrastination on my part, especially pertaining to my online aspirations, is due to fear. This I know. I am guilty of not getting started. Fear holds me back. Perfectionism holds me back. Being perceived by others as less than competent holds me back.

I hear all the time that the key is to start. I understand this, but that doesn’t take the fear away. Starting is the hardest part because I don’t want others to see what I don’t know yet. Appearing amateurish and haphazard and incomplete is a fearful proposition.

But lately I’ve been having this conversation with myself and I really do believe I’m getting closer to starting. I have an idea where I want to end up. I know where I want to get to and I have an idea about which method I want to use to get there. I can’t see the whole picture just yet, but I’m much closer to starting than I used to be.
