@Pete - For sure. Totally reminds me of my childhood.

@Sire - I didn’t know you were in the dairy delivery business. Eggnogg is not something we can easily find here in Brazil. That’s why it’s been forever since I had eggnog. This recipe came just in time for Christmas celebrations.

@Lynette - that’s a good suggestion. I’m excited just to have eggnogg.

I love “real” eggnog – the taste is so superior to the processed “fake” nog. but what I do is opt to use the pasteurized eggs to be on the safe side.

As I am in the dairy delivery game I sell eggnog on a daily basis, but come Christmas time the eggnog sales go wild. I must admit though that this recipe sounds so much nicer. I might even give it a shot, minus the whipped cream though, got to watch out for those calories you know.

Hey forget the straw. Go for the mustache!! It is the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our savior. If we can whoop it up for sports teams, paint our faces and act like fools there, why not an eggnog mustache !! LOL

Sound real delicious, I think this is close to the recipe that my mom used when I was a kid, the only difference, we did not put the whipped cream on top. I think I will go get some nutmeg and make some tonight.
