When I was little kid I remember the fun barbeques that we had with the whole family during the summer. It was a huge amount of fun. A barbeque is one of many fun summer family activities. Planning the food is an important portion of organizing family bonding time. During the summer, some of the most popular recipes that people love are lemonade, orange sherbert and smoothies to cool them down. Of course all of this combined with an awesome barbeque and we have a complete party!
So let’s get to the barbeque sauce:
This unique BBQ recipe is made with apple cider. Even though you can find ready made barbeque sauce it never is quite as good as making it from scratch. You can also make this sauce beforehand and refrigerate it until the actual day of the barbeque.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Yield: 12 servings
– 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
– 5 dashes of hot sauce
– 4 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
– 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
– ¾ cups of Ketchup
– 3 tablespoons of butter
– 2 minced onions (better to be large ones)
First you’re going to melt the butter and add the minced onions. Don’t let the heat be too high. The onions shouldn’t get brown at this point.
Put all of the other ingredients into the pan while adding ½ a cup of water and let it boil for one minute.
Bring down the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
That’s it- you’ve just made great barbecue sauce- enjoy!
