God is your Father
Do you ever feel like you are alone? God’s word shows that you are not alone in this world. The Lord is your Father. He is looking out for your good and always watches over you.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
(Psalm 103:13 )


Then I said to you, Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.
(Deuteronomy 1:29-31)

Let the Lord speak to your heart about His love for you as a Father.

Are you feeling weary and tired? God will renew your strength if you are patient and trust Him.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

The Lord promises to give you strength and help so do not be discouraged.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
(Isaiah 41:10)

God hears your cry and will deliver you from your troubles – place your trust in Him.

The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
(Psalms 34:17)

He will heal your hurting heart

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
(Psalms 147:3)

Place your hope in God and He will strengthen you.

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
(Psalms 31:24)

God cares about you

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
(1 Peter 5:6-7 )

Hold on to God’s love and nothing will separate you from Him

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 8:38-39)

He will never leave you nor forsake you– do not fear

…..for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
(Hebrews13:5b-6)

He promises you life, joy and gladness – he will establish you for His glory.

To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
(Isaiah 61:3)

Heavenly not Earthly

The faithful to God did not consider the Earth as their true home.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
(Hebrews 11:13-14)


But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
(Hebrews 11:16)

Abraham did not seek earthly treasures but fixated His eyes on the eternal- do the same look to the eternal. Shift your views and goals to eternal life and not to this temporary world. He lived by faith for the reward in eternity.

By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.
(Hebrews 11:8-10)

Put your eyes on the eternity and in God’s heavenly plans for you.

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
(Isaiah 51:11)

The Lord Jesus taught us to use the Word of God to strengthen our spiritual lives each and every day.


God is The Creator of All the Universe and has you in His hands – Trust Him!
