Hey Mary,
I see my good friend Clay is already giving you some great advice.
I have a resizing tutorial in the works to help others know basic reformatting of images. It's a pretty big post but it's only in draft phase. I think that will help you out too. But getting the image configured is simpler than actually finding the code that places it for others to copy and paste.
I know the code that you're talking about. It's a code that we need to put so that people can just copy and paste to place the banner on their own blog.
I also want to know how to do that. Don't know when I'll get around to it (because there's so much on my plate right now- LOL).
But as soon as I learn about it I'll email you for sure ;-)

Hey Clay,
Thanks for all your help here :)I'll keep you updated on that code too.

Blessings my friends ♥,
Eren

Hey Mary Joy,

One idea is to use snagit and grab the part of your banner where it says
Life Interrupted
Two Hearts…Two Minds…One Adventure…
and save it as a .jpg
Then you can resize it using photoshop or resizeit.com to be the size you want. Since it is black you can easily make it bigger by adding a black border or using various means like photoshop.
Then just make it a standard banner size.
Send it along with the url of where you want it to go.
Basically the banner is just an image with a link in the html code. w3schools.com has the html code for anything you ever need. I use it all the time to check on how to code something I ahve not used in a while.
I'm not Eren, I just subscribe to this thread. :-)

Eren,

Help! Do you have any suggestions for someone who needs to create a blog button/banner so that it can be added to other people's blogs for folks to click on to get to our blog? I see them a lot but don't know how to make one.

Thanks for sharing all of your great ideas! You are really appreciated!

@Jason - Thanks. I still want to make more for a variety of choices.

@Ms. Liz - I'm so glad you liked them. I'm thinking of making a pink batch of them too.

@Robert - I'll be getting the code and putting it on this post. As soon as I do I'll tweet ya ;-)

@Clay- Thanks for the tweet. Always appreciated.

@Ching Ya - Yeah. Designing images is really a passion of mine. If I could I would design images all day. I just am so happy to see it come to life and the creative process of it all. Thanks for the tweet ♥

Blessings always,
