Hi there! I'm Eren Mckay. I created this blog to help others save money, time & major headaches through sharing what I've learned about the internet & techie world. I hope we can all help each other grow in our online adventures.
|
I’ve spent some time creating some Twitter buttons for you to place on your blog, website or social network. I hope you like them
.
You’re going to have to add some html code to the button so that people can click it and go to your Twitter account.
I also did a little tutorial for you to know how to download these images to your computer so that you can then upload them to your own blog or wherever else on the web.
Please don’t use them from my url as it will load my bandwidth costs. When you scroll down you’ll see that there are various different colors. I’ll be creating more and adding them to this page as I do so.
1- Right mouse click on top of the image. A new window will pop up like the one in the image below. ![]()
|
2- Select the image where it says Save Image As. ![]()
|
Another window will pop up for you to choose which folder you want to put the image in. Simply select the folder of your choice and click save.

If you like these images don’t forget to leave me a comment and let me know ( I love hearing from you
). This blog is do follow and has comment luv which means you get a link to your latest post when you comment.
Also if you’re not yet subscribed to the Embracing Blogging feed you may add it to your reader by clicking here.

Very nice Eren. I didn’t know you were so talented. If I’m ever to use a twitter button on my blog, it will be one of these for sure. Consider this post Tweeted.

You definitely have some artistic and design talent. It kind of lights a fire under me to design some of my own buttons with my own artistic flavor. Wonderful stuff!

Hi Jay,
.
Thanks but it really wasn’t that hard. The bird images were already made I just resized them and put them together with the background
It does take time though. I love creating images when my brain is not “up for” writing.
Thanks for stopping by,
Eren

Eren, Thanks for those, I’ve actually been looking for some rather ‘cute’ Twitter buttons and you’ve provided a nice choice. The hardest part is deciding which one to use – Thanks!

Eren,
Help! Do you have any suggestions for someone who needs to create a blog button/banner so that it can be added to other people’s blogs for folks to click on to get to our blog? I see them a lot but don’t know how to make one.
Thanks for sharing all of your great ideas! You are really appreciated!
Clay Franklin on Wed, 27th Jan 2010 4:59 am
Hey Mary Joy,
One idea is to use snagit and grab the part of your banner where it says

Life Interrupted
Two Hearts…Two Minds…One Adventure…
and save it as a .jpg
Then you can resize it using photoshop or resizeit.com to be the size you want. Since it is black you can easily make it bigger by adding a black border or using various means like photoshop.
Then just make it a standard banner size.
Send it along with the url of where you want it to go.
Basically the banner is just an image with a link in the html code. w3schools.com has the html code for anything you ever need. I use it all the time to check on how to code something I ahve not used in a while.
I’m not Eren, I just subscribe to this thread.

Hey Mary,
I see my good friend Clay is already giving you some great advice.
I have a resizing tutorial in the works to help others know basic reformatting of images. It’s a pretty big post but it’s only in draft phase. I think that will help you out too. But getting the image configured is simpler than actually finding the code that places it for others to copy and paste.
I know the code that you’re talking about. It’s a code that we need to put so that people can just copy and paste to place the banner on their own blog.
I also want to know how to do that. Don’t know when I’ll get around to it (because there’s so much on my plate right now- LOL).
But as soon as I learn about it I’ll email you for sure
Hey Clay,
I’ll keep you updated on that code too.
Thanks for all your help here
Blessings my friends ♥,
Eren
